My theory is that all the good Okie stuff was used up for the El Paso Sun Bowl show two years earlier.
In the airport on the way home the day after the fiesta bowl I chatted with the Okie state fans and they were really pissed off about the awards ceremony. They were all a bit confused by the pregame show.
I would just love for the band to tighten it up a bit. Maybe get a core group that plays loud and tight and gives the band just a bit of musical credibility. No matter where they go parody wise.
