Not sure I understand your point... are you suggesting the next coach is guaranteed to be the equivalent of Jim Harbaugh?
I'm not sure any coach or assistant in D1 would take this job.

Really? Why not? Stanford has a niche. Especially the one and dones an G league etc. are expanding.
