Don't see how pairing transfers with players who declare for the draft is endemic of an issue with the team. As for the transfers, Pugh, Sheffield, and White left in search of more playing time. White ended up not even transferring, but going to play professionally in the NBL (New Zealand and Australia). Pugh averaged 10.1 mpg at Loyola Marymount this season and Sheffield was a key contributor at Elon after transferring from Stanford. Now Cormac Ryan is the only one who you can say was a key contributor that left. He transferred because his dad wanted him to play the point, but Haase refused because Terry was coming in (plus Ryan just can't play the point). Ryan didn't even play the point for Notre Dame this season so Haase is not the problem there. Haase has many issues but the transfers and NBA departures are not some of them.
