So anyone know why, with a 6'5" player and two 6'4" players on the bench, Louisville routinely goes with a four-guard, short lineup, with a single 6'3" forward?
Is this because their taller players are injured, not very good, or just that Walz prefers a small and speedy lineup?
Over at Walz World the Louisville fans are asking the same question. Some are worried, others say the win against Oregon proves a small lineup can work for them. But here is one of their fans who is a skeptic:

Quote:Not even a little bit. We beat a team who's best guards where watching from the sideline. If we stay within' 20 of Stanford, i might change my mind, a little. Being the smallest team will never be an advantage. We play very hard, that's a given, but that don't get you rebounds, or help get your shot off agains't taller players. We played our best ball in this tourney with Dixon, Balogun and Konno giving us more size. I see the same thing happening tomorrow. But will it be enough, i sure hope so but don't see it being close in reality. Sorry, but i call em' like i see um'. It would take a perfect shooting night to give us a chance. That could happen i suppose. 3's better be falling for us, that's for sure. If Jeff is reading, please play Dixon more than 25 minute's. Please. LOL.
