...something associated with Twitter makes sense. In this case, humor. Repeated by Scott Ostler in the Chron.  Sports Rules. Not up to a Cowboy Indian-class arrow through the heart funny, but proof of the wisdom and humor of groups. Turns out you can't fool all the people all of the time. Reprinted in a column for those not yet enthralled by Twitter.
Two (of many) that tweeked my peeves: the slowness of baseball and the narcissistic hype of the NBA:
Rjunsch's Rule: A batter readjusting his batting gloves after taking a called strike will have his gloves confiscated.
Dave's Rule: No NBA team is permitted to introduce its starting lineup to dimmed lights, disco balls, fireworks and spotlights unless the team is over .500.
