Avent told reporters Monday that an illness was running through the team but made no mention of it possibly being COVID-19. He said associate head coach Chris Hart had been sick for five or six days and that Jarrett and pitcher Cameron Cotter weren't feeling well.

It's mind-boggling to think that any of these players are NOT vaccinated. They all should be by now. Hell, my 14 year old, who is deathly afraid of shots, got his Pfizer dual-blast many, many weeks ago. SMH.
P.S. Am aware of a local HS who had one positive test on the roster allowing team to play on basis of (a) very little chance of outdoor transmission, (b) the positive testee was asymptomatic, and © possibility of false positive. Based on the above, I assume the NC State guys are actually sick. Again . . . mind-boggling.
Three quarters of the teens in my practice are vaccinated. And I work in the poorest part of inner city Oakland. Not getting vaccinated is an active choice, not a lack of access.
There has to be more here that NCST is not disclosing. This is the second time this team has tested positive for Covid. Back in March they cancelled their series vs Duke and a game against Coastal Carolina. The play that it was the NCAA's fault and a conspiracy against the school is total look at what happened to us, rather than this is what we did to us!!
