Thank you, Donkey687. I see no benefit to speculating at this point. Sherman has been a wonderful representative of Stanford and the NFL and until given evidence to the contrary I am going to give him benefit of the doubt.
Resisting the arrest as was reported in the ESPN article, wasn't smart, if true.
Shocking to read Sherman arrested and charged with anything. There may be a reasonable explanation, but "nothing good happens after 2am" should always moderate the behavior of someone with sound judgment.
