I'd bet good money no one posting on this board knows Sherman's history/details to really have a clue where on this spectrum he falls.  I certainly do not.

This is IMHO unequivocally true. We don't know why this happened. It is certainly sad that it did. Hopefully, some good will come of it and things can get better for Richard Sherman. He has so much to offer and so much in front of him, it would indeed be tragic if he cannot realize this additional potential (and associated joy) outside of football.
