There's no way for fans to know if she suffered a concussion. She'll have to be evaluated by a doctor. Stanford WVB won't release anything. When I have time I want to rerun the play in slow motion to see if the ball hit her forehead or her jaw. My uneducated opinion is a jaw impact would be less inclined to rattle the brain.
FWIW, one of the demands of Hodson's original lawsuit was that all volleyballs used by NCAA institutions have a warning getting hit in the head by a volleyball can cause a concussion. That demand was dismissed by the court.
