Tremayne is Stanford's best walk-on performer of the last decade IMO.

I was about to counter with the Whalen not-brothers, but then checked the years. 

I don't believe the Whalens were related, just an incredible lucky coincidence.

Thus the term "not-brothers".

Shaw referred to Tremayne as one of the best receivers in America, sounds like hyperbole but really hard to argue given what we saw this year and last.

Of course there is some hyperbole there for a guy who has 37 career receptions as a senior. But he also has developed very nicely during his time at Stanford and has some obvious ability.

David Parry for most recent/best walkon position player?  Jake Bailey for most recent/best walkon specialist?

Parry does fit the timeline, last playing for Stanford in 2014. I had somehow been thinking it was earlier.

I thought Bailey got a scholarship, but I am not certain.
