That sounds about right.  There was a period where we were noting that while other teams were generally getting their special teams players (P, K, and LS) as PWO's who would be offered a scholarship if they became starters, we were making them recruited positions.  I thought it made sense for punters and kickers, where it does seem to have resulted in better than average special teams, but I wasn't sure about long snappers.  On the other hand, now that I think about it, when was the last time we had a long snapping mishap?
