Honestly, I thought the Oregon win was as much Oregon giving away the game as anything...and so it doesn't elevate my expectations for Stanford going forward.  Lot of unforced errors by Oregon, as well as unfortunate external circumstances as well.  I'll take the win, and credit to Stanford for rising to the occasion, but this was a Duck team at less than 100%, and on the last drives, very much of their own doing.

Kinda like the way I still view the USC game last month. Always sweet to beat those guys but there was something just not right with the Trojans that day. Even the the Trojan band seemed oddly muted. I am still looking forward to an unconditionally rip-roaring, resonating, kick-ass win against a worthy foe. Tonight has all the ingredients. Gonna reveal a lot about Shaw's team.
