The defense had a poor first quarter, but settled down after giving up the 3rd score.

Why is Myles Hinton still playing? The worst of a bad lot.
Hinton was a highly touted recruit coming out of HS who had offers from all the big boys.
Overrated or underdeveloped?
The game was reminiscent of Kansas State where the defense stiffened after playing poorly early, but the offense never could get it together. This time we can't blame Shaw for not playing McKee the whole game.
When you have absolutely no running attack and have to depend totally on the pass to move the ball, these kinds of games are going to happen, especially when you get up against good teams. Hard to say the defense lost this game when your offense gives up almost as many points as it scores.
