I've been a life-long Cowboy fan, ever since Super Bowl XII. My Uncle Tommy came over to watch the game, and he had some money on the Broncos. Since I was eight years old, I naturally started rooted for the Cowboys, and I've never stopped. My interest in the NFL has waxed and waned over the years, a pattern that matches exactly the rising and falling fortunes of the Cowboys, but something interesting happened over the weekend.
I recorded and watched Andrew Luck and the Colts, watched the highlights on ESPN, listened to the analysts dissect Luck's performance, and read everything I could about it. The Cowboys played the next night, and I didn't even care. Still don't, really. After three great years rooting for Luck, I'm not ready to stop.
Anyone else noticing this?

Please clear the field! The game is not over!
