And we care about this because . . . . ??Â Unless your team is contending to play in the BCS championship game, polls are pretty meaningless.Â If Stanford is undefeated in October after Big Game, I'll start to pay attention.Â Until then, polls (and the pollsters) are not worth any ergs of energy.
