1) A gutsy win in a game that was tight the whole way. The best kind of win, although a great deal to improve.
2) I thought the Belibi-Brink combo worked very well in the first half, and am not sure why Belibi was hardly seen in the second half. Very odd.
3) Jones was not that effective. Clearly she is not all the way back from whatever injury she had. Tara used her for offense but sometimes took her out for defense, and when she stayed in, her defense was poor.
4) Cam may not have been efficient, but it was effective. I have wondered why we have not used her like this much more often. The first game really when she was the main focus nearly every possession she was in. But I agree with others that Cam is learning how NOT to foul. She was far superior in that regard today. Maybe she was heavily featured because she was able to limit her fouling. 21 points and 22 rebounds and 5 blocks is terrific, but any featured post HAS to do better than 1/6 free throws.
5) We need the old Lexie back.
6) The team's slumps on three point shooting (3/12) and free throw shooting (8/18)both continue. Not good. Let's break those slumps beginning tomorrow.
7) 16 turnovers to Indiana's 7 nearly cost us the game. A fair number of them were unforced.
8) Some poor decisions, such as when Wilson did not run clock and thus gave the ball back to Indiana for a basket.
