Two more tough games and not much rest.  I don't love how this shakes out.  But that's what the schedule says, so go, go ,go.

While these games are important for RPI or whatever replaced it, I'd bet Tara would say these are more important, win or lose, for experience for the PAC-12 and NCAA Tournaments.  Take the easier road now and it hurts you later.

The downside of this boot camp experience is the possibility of injuries.

I just looked at the full game +/-.  I don't think anyone here would be surprised at the negative leaders: Wilson, Jerome, Jones.  


The by-far leader on the positive side of the +/- might surprise some, even most, people.  (Hint:  Brink tied for 3rd with 2 others on the team at +4.)

Indeed one person here characterized her as having an uncharacteristic off-day.  Perhaps it is too easy to look at offensive stats, and not how the team does relative to the other team. 

Brink got the headlines.  Lexie got the win.

Such a great stat! It does surprise me some, because she did have an off-day in most of the statistical categories. But it's not a shocker. Lexie and Lacie are invaluable to the team. Their floor games are superb and they are absolutely relentless competitors. They lift their teammates up and make everyone around them better.

You can see this team finding their way and the coaching staff is figuring out the rotations. This team has it in them to repeat. I would say South Carolina is the favorite right now, especially at their place, but we're going to gain ground throughout the year. If/when we start hitting 3's, lookout.
