The South Florida will still sting as it was imminently winnable and Maryland was not at full strength, so there is somewhat of an asterisk besides it. But having not seen today's game and not having bought the streaming option, so I only watched the other two games (and not all of them) using the method where you refresh the tiny window every 90 seconds, it seems that though we smoothed out some things in the last game today, we could definitely use these next two weeks to hopefully get everyone back to fully healthy and work on some issues still plaguing us.
Fortunately, we have a softer spot in our schedule when we emerge from our finals hiatus against Pacific and Davis. Hopefully those two games will let us shake off any cobwebs off from the long break, give the bench more playing time and put into action any adjustments we've learned over the first 7 games of the season before our very tough road trip to Tennessee and South Carolina. With Carolina's win against UConn earlier, Staley's crew is definitely the early season standard that everyone else is holding themselves up to; that contest will show us how far we are from being successfully defending our crown.
