I don't know where the compliment is in "If Stanford can do it, certainly we can.",  but apparently the math works out like this:  Stanford + more money + Harbaugh=  Jackpot    So UCLA is trying    Money ($$ millions) = The transitive property of Harbaugh-ness + Coach who isn't Harbaugh =  Jackpot.

I always chuckle over one of Neuheisel's last pathetic defenses of his record.  UCLA's football program, Neuheisel  "complained that coaching UCLA was 'bringing a knife to a gun fight'."  Never brought him up short to think that he was the knife...and a pretty dull one at that.
