During the Liberty vs. BYU game when they announced the cancelation of the Stanford game they said it was four players on the team who tested positive for Covid. 

My guess is that it was important players and they didn't want to play the reserves and get crushed or that Vandy didn't want to chance it and play a team with an outbreak and possibly jeperardize their season/record. Playing four players down is doable.

My guess is that if there were four positive cases on the team, those four were close contacts with many more players who will likely test positive too, and it wouldn't make any sense to play where presumptively soon-to-be-positive players are on the floor with Vandy's players, especially when I assume everyone will need to test negative before they can go home.
