My observations from inside the arena:

First, begin at the beginning. The woman who sang the national anthem was wearing a Miss Washington sash. She was Very Pretty, and although I have no professional insight, seemed to sing well. I can imagine that more than a few people would find an excuse to watch if someone who makes this kind of decision found an excuse to put her on television.

Second, the Stanford team during the first half was extremely sloppy with its passing and overall play. I saw nothing that would cause me to believe that the Cardinal might pull this game out.

Thirdly, the Husky team of the second half was unable to score, and created hope that the Cardinal had a chance. Snuffed out at the end, but it did seem real for a while. Oh well.

Another Stanford team to fail in Seattle. Too many times.

Glad to hear you were able watch the game in person and support the team. I had to DVR it and almost didn’t watch the second half. Very entertaining second half and it gave me hope!
