Besides the possibility of Harrison Ingram going off, there's the rumor that USC Coach Andy Enfield might be interested in the head coach job at Louisville. USC was Enfield's first job west of the Mississippi. Born in PA, played at Johns Hopkins, worked in NYC, Milwaukee, Boston and Florida, plus he has the ethics cred for the Louisville job given that USC men's BB is currently on probation.
Speaking of ethics cred (and bolstering the point made with your link) . . . remember when college hoops fans used to look askance at a coach's hiring of a recruit's dad onto staff to lure the player(s) to his school? That was viewed as slimy. Yeah, well, Enfield did that in getting the Mobley brothers to choose SC (much to Stanford's chagrin). But nowadays? Hell, such hires are deemed an acceptable part of the recruiting landscape. Of course, in this NIL world, what is a recruiting violation?
Ethics cred, indeed . . .
