That was the best game the Stanford men have played all season. The ball moved on offense, the guys actually made some perimeter shots (!), limited turnovers, and as usual rebounded it well. Great win and very happy for the players and coaches!
We've "climbed" to 86th in the Net Rankings, which is not even close to getting a bid. If we win the games we should, we end up 13-7 and 20 wins overall. But my guess is our Net Ranking still wouldn't be good enough at that point - maybe into the 60's. The weakness of the lower tier of the P12 plus our bad losses (Santa Clara, Washington) continue to haunt us. Feels like we need at least one more big win along the way and to hold serve against everyone else. I don't think we can beat Arizona, but maybe we could get one from UCLA or at Oregon in the regular season or one in the P12 tourney.
