They evolve, they aren't static.

But my guess is our Net Ranking still wouldn't be good enough at that point - maybe into the 60's. The weakness of the lower tier of the P12 plus our bad losses (Santa Clara, Washington) continue to haunt us. Feels like we need at least one more big win along the way and to hold serve against everyone else. I don't think we can beat Arizona, but maybe we could get one from UCLA or at Oregon in the regular season or one in the P12 tourney.
Go Card!
I think you're right about needing some more good wins but,
1) Wichita State and Michigan State received at-large bids last year with NET ratings in the 70s (70 and 76), obviously Stanford's overall record and strength of schedule won't get them in with a NET in that range but being in the 50s or 60s isn't necessarily a disqualifier if that's where we end up.
2) Q3 and Q4 losses are considered "bad losses" and Stanford only has one (the game at Washington) since Santa Clara has climbed up into Q2.
And, if I understood Casey Jakes correctly last eve, Stanford has 4 Quad 1 wins which he says is important. Did we pick up 2 in Hawaii?
