Exactly. Stable, extremely patient ownership that has been willing to invest money in the organization.
Solid roster with a competent, veteran quarterback. No GM at moment so they will hire someone compatible with the head coach. Winnable division (very winnable if Rodgers moves on). Cap situation is tight but otherwise it's a very good situation.
Harbaugh may just be leveraging interest to secure a mega-extension from Michigan, but if he wants to go back to the NFL he can win right away in Minnesota instead of suffering through years of rebuilding somewhere.
