Everyone sucks, the theory, appears to be further validated. Colorado might be the worst team in the land, and are currently losing at halftime to Sacramento State. USC is sputtering a bit versus 'Cuse; overall most of the SC units look fine, except for pass pro, which looks awful. I'm sure Derek Mason is pleased. ND is looking so-so (perhaps traveling-back-from-Ireland aftereffects)? Re: their new QB, Everett Golson. By ND standards, the hype is real: looks like a shorter Keith Price to me.
kal and Wazzou are edging their respective FCS opponents but don't appear to be dominating, as least by the scoreboard.
The most impressive team so far has been Oregon State. Tough-looking defense. Offense is a bit limited--too many dink-and-dunks--but even though the scoreboard's 3-0, Oregon State has been playing much better than Wisconsin. Guess Mike Riley didn't forget how to coach overnight.
