Another alternative is to stop watching college sports and never paying for a ticket or a service. I am trending that way. What is replacing same? America's Day at the Races on Fox, TVG, the DP World Tour, the Golf Channel, fiddling around in the garage listening to KDFC, hitting balls into my just purchased net, etc.

I never figured I could stop going to Stanford Stadium. Turns out to be no problem.

A lot of other people are still watching college football. The SEC made $778M last year. CBS and NBC may be preparing to offer the Big 10 $1B per year for the rights to broadcast its college football games starting in 2023-2024. Meanwhile, the P12 will fall further behind. It's really a mid-major conference at this point and NIL money will not close the gap.
