I never figured I could stop going to Stanford Stadium. Turns out to be no problem.
A lot of other people are still watching college football. The SEC made $778M last year. CBS and NBC may be preparing to offer the Big 10 $1B per year for the rights to broadcast its college football games starting in 2023-2024. Meanwhile, the P12 will fall further behind. It's really a mid-major conference at this point and NIL money will not close the gap.
