I believe I overlapped in college with his son, Nate Kirtman III, who lived upstairs from me during my freshman year. He was the first and probably only Pomona College athlete to be drafted to the NFL, and he was D-III national champ in track (long jump or maybe triple jump?) On our football team, it was almost comical how many positions we had him playing - receiver, returner, sometimes RB or QB (?), and I want to say punter, too!  (Yes, punter.) Apparently, he’s a successful entertainment industry exec now.  If you Google “Nate Kirtman,” you will read all about the son.  I had no idea that his father was a memorable player at Stanford.  RIP.
