San Francisco football back in the day. We never played out of conference. Bellarmine was the De La Salle of those days with SI a close second. But we never played them. We blasted OJ and Galileo in his junior season but had a very tough game against Washington and Kirtman. We clobbered them in the championship game. The next year Holmgren and Lincoln were the pick of everybody but Kirtman lead Washington to the title. He played both ways, returned kicks, etc.

I think he was part of Ralston’s great recruiting class. Washington, Buehler, Broughton and many others.
