At around 9:25 in the first quarter, Wilkerson takes the snap and runs along the left side in his usual speedy, juking sort of way for 5 yards. USC Number 18 Deion Bailey manages to grab Wilkerson's right ankle to pull him down. Bailey remains lying on the ground clutching Wilkerson's ankle under him. Then Wilkerson suddenly reacts with a jerk and swats at Bailey's shoulder to get him off. Bailey then gets off and pounds his torso a couple of times to show Wilkerson what a big strong manly man he is.
You can't tell exactly what is occurring, but when that happened, I was thinking that Bailey twisted Wilkerson's ankle after he was down, and I thought that was really cheap. But if he actually injured Wilkerson, that pisses the crap out of me. If that's the case, I hope Shaw sends a tape to the Pac-12 offices for USC's cheap, dangerous play.
