Last night's Warriors-Pelicans telecast featured a spotlight on Kevon Looney being one of only 5 NBA players to play in every game for their team this NBA season. One of the other five is Dwight Powell.  

I don't recall who the other three were, but none of them were All-Star level players. Still, it's a pretty impressive accomplishment, especially considering only 5 players out of about 500 or so pulled it off, and Powell was coming off ACL surgery IIRC. DP has had arguably the best season of his career.

Mavs fan here.  Powell has been fantastic this season.  He's become an elite pick and roll guy (it doesn't hurt when Luka Doncic is the other guy in the pick and roll).  Powell just set the Mavs' record for consecutive shots made--18 over four games. Not too surprising, as he's shooting 67% for the season.

Powell definitely has a specialized role for the Mavs, but he does it really well.
