Coaches can't make contact with a student-athlete until they enter the portal. So there'd be no way for Brown to ascertain any availability on another team's roster until she's in the portal. Assuming she wants to play basketball, there'd be no point in her accepting a master's program at another university first without confirming the coach would want her on the team and have a spot and scholly for her. And I doubt she's looking to grad transfer for a master's she has to pay full pop for.
