Ky Robinson 2nd on the Steeplechase

Someone needs to teach Ky how to hurdle. I had never watched him run the steeple before, and given his credentials in the event I was stunned to see him step on 90% of the barriers. He's not taking it to the next level in this event doing that! On the plus side, he's already borderline world class with an 8:32 PR, so in a funny way it's nice to see him hurdle so poorly given that this seems like low-hanging fruit.

Year after year, it seems as if we have nobody trained for the steeple. Given all the great 3k runners we hand every year, it seems silly that we don’t have even one runner who attempts to focus on this race. Someone (probably whoever is out 2nd best 3k runner) is missing a big opportunity.
