There's a place called College Football Matrix that thinks Washington over Stanford is the fifth likeliest upset this weekend.  Rationale?  "Bottom line is Huskies at home with slightly less talent should still win, unless Sark can’t coach them up."  Erm, yeah.

On the other end of the spectrum, SBNation is running a weekly blogpoll, and Stanford picked up two first-place votes en route to an 8th place ranking.  Bama leads all teams with 85 first-place votes.

SI.com's Andy Staples has Stanford eighth in his power rankings here, and he notes that two computer rankings have Stanford first and second based on results from this season alone (without "preseason poll bias and the dreaded 'eyeball test'").  Those are the Colley and Massey computer rankings, respectively.
