yes it's turf, but all of our players have experience playing on that surface. Only one shot on goal for us. I suspect that Northwestern's assistant coach, Rich Manning, after coaching against us as head coach at Utah for many years, was able to give them a better defensive plan than most of our non-conference opponents can muster. IIRC, we always won vs. Utah and Manning, but the scores were close.
