One part I’d like to see changed is which Dr makes the ultimate decision. It’s now the team Dr in consultation with the “Unaffiliated Neurotrama Consultant”. I’d think the UNC is better suited to make the decision. First, he or she is a neurologist or at least has some head trauma experience. Second, the UNC is supposedly independent and thus less prone, in my opinion, to be motivated by “team” considerations.
