The players have been denied any chance of success on the field, feel sorry for them, experienced the same thing.  Would not fault a single one if they look to transfer.

I hope they give Bernie and earful after the end of the season along the lines of "I'll be playing for a new coach next season. It's up to you whether that's at Stanford or somewhere else."

Maybe if enough players say that, combined with a similar message from current season ticket holders who will not renew if Shaw stays, Bernie will figure out that it might cost him less to get rid of Shaw than to keep him
