Everything I have heard is the University is giving athletes no access to the alumni/boosters for potential NIL deals. Most schools by this point have set up some kind of network that allows athletes to make contacts with the programs biggest supporters and will help start relationships. The school, as always, wants to control who/how/when these Big $ supporters are being contacted.  

BTW U$C NIL deals are being run by a Stanford grad
