I think Bloomgren, Akina, Alomar, and to a lesser extent Carberry were all good hires. However, all these hires were 4+ years ago and he has whiffed on all the ones since. In addition, has he ever fired an assistant?

Bloomgren also played a role in play calling whereas it seems like it is all Shaw now. I wonder if Bloomgren would be interested in coming back to Stanford if the position opened...
