We are one bad defensive play (final TD by ORST) away from being 3-3.  

Perhaps we are at the mid-season form that Shaw alluded to earlier in the season.  If so, we should be able to beat the SunCancers, Weenies, and Cougs.  If we do that, we will have 5 wins and that bad defensive play will have cost us a bowl game.

Do I think we will get to five wins?  Sure, why not?  It's okay to dream.

I was thinking the same thing this morning: some better D against OSU, and we are even at 3-3.  And seeing how the Cougs lost to OSU yesterday and how the Bears fell to the 0-5 Buffs at Folsom, I could easily imagine a few more wins in our future, with a 6-6 season not impossible.  We could even take down BYU, who lost to ND.  Let's see.

I forgot about BYU.  Yes, that could be the 6th win in this post-beating-ND-at-South-Bend dream state.  That would be great, however a bowl appearance will likely allow Shaw to keep his job and result in the implosion of the Cardboard.  I want our team to win, but I also enjoy participating on the Cardboard.  Hmmm . . .
