The NCAA women's soccer tournament committee released a mid-season top 10 last week BEFORE Stanford had knocked off UCLA. Stanford was not in that top 10, nor were they one of the schools listed as Under Consideration.

Stanford desperately needed that victory. Maybe it was helped by the spirit of Katie Meyer.
Big weekend trip to the Oregons this weekend. Stanford has dropped two straight to Oregon State. Oregon beat Stanford as recently as 2020. The team can't afford losses or even ties against the final 5 opponents (Oregons, Utah, Colorado and Cal). 4 of those 5 are in the bottom half of the conference.
