Unfortunately, having Nottingham/Hogan/Picazzo/Lloyd/whoever I forgot hand the ball off to Taylor to run up the middle a bunch of times from the 4 yard line probably wouldn't have changed things much when it counted ... :(
The old cliche -- insanity [note: NOT asininity] is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result -- would seem to apply here. For the last few years, of course, running that play over and over gave the same SUCCESSFUL result -- so we expected and were quite happy with the SAME result. This year...not so much.
