Twitter is full of Notre Dame fans attacking posts by Stanford fans, claiming that Stepfan's elbow was down before the ball crossed the line (others claimed no forward progress). Espn's "rules guru" concluded there wasn't 100% conclusive evidence to overturn the call. Chris Fowler simply dismissed critics by pointing out that the refs were from the Pac 12. Lou Holtz, always a bastion of logic, relied on ND's record of defending against TDs in the previous three games to justify why the replay refs denied Stanford's touchdown. Kevin Gemmel continued his quest of proving he is not a Stanford homer now that he covers the Pac-12 blog. In Stanford's corner: Mark Mays, Mark Perreira and Ted Miller. Anyone else?
