When the opposition gives them time and space - Utah in the first half as an example - the team tears them apart. But they struggle the opponent applies pressure in the midfield like Colorado did in the last game. The team just hasn't figured out how to handle pressure consistently. Probably related, but as an example they also don't have a feel on what the balance of offense v defense shape and how to transition should be. Colorado is very limited offensively, yet you regularly saw in the first half 1 or 2 Stanford attackers vs 5-6 defenders and no help on the way. I'ts pretty clear Radcliffe knows he still has things to work out since he is still rotating the lineup heavily this deep into the season, but it might not be until next year that they are a real title threat.
Other thoughts:
- Montoya was their best player already - of immense proportions loss
- Doms hasn't been very good this year
- Holy freak Williams is fast
- This team could be much better next year

I agree. This team could be stronger and much better next year. Kitahata is expected to return. Hopefully, Montoya returns to form before the injury. Isn't one of the Thompson sisters joining the team next year? Really bright future for the team
