Starlink is part of SpaceX, but that is neither here nor there.  Bezos was highly successful building Amazon; the Washington Post continues to struggle.  Maybe Musk will be successful turning twitter around; maybe he’ll just piss away $40 billion, which again is neither here nor there.  I still follow people on Twitter, including some Stanford accounts. As long as it is a useful and interesting, I will continue to use it.  If Musk is as bad at running Twitter as some people seem to believe, then those people will disappear and be replaced by trolls and misinformation, then I will drop twitter.  But as of today, I notice little difference from last Thursday so I’m still using it.

No idea how successful Elon will be with Twitter.  I do think the fact that he is a heavy user is very good thing.  I also am pretty sure that the cost reductions will be good in the long run.  My guess is Twitter is going to lose some left wing users but pick up some right wing.
