Is this a C.al fan's way of saying they don't acknowledge the Stanford victory in 2007 as legitimate, or are you just inflating the exploits of your alma mater to counter the deep depression the current team is inflicting on you?

OT: My favorite quote from that 2007 game:

"It's not like they're the better team," Cal linebacker Worrell Williams said. "They're not. There's no way, no how. Everybody knows that. But taking nothing away from them ... we killed ourselves today, and that's why we've had this slump."

At that point in the rivalry, I think most C.al players, and fans, couldn't imagine the streak ending. 71Bear, aside. It is a good reminder of how things change in just a few years.
