They drafted Luck in 2012. They took a 7th round OL that year, who never made a roster. They took an OG and a C in the 2nd and 3rd round the next year. 2nd rounder had 35 starts, 3rd rounder was a backup for a few years. 2014, a 7th round OL who played 3 games. None in 2015. First legit draft pick was 2016 1st rounder, a center who has played 93 games since then. The 3rd rounder that year was a tackle who has had 16 starts in six years. 5th rounder started for two years, has been a spot starter since then. 7th rounder was a C who started 61 games. Next year, a 4th round tackle who didn't make the team.
In the five years including Luck's rookie year, Indianapolis Colts drafted 9 OLs, most of whom didn't pan out.
Many thanks. Great data analysis.
