Here are a couple of articles about Creighton that have appeared recently.  After Creighton plays us, their next opponent is UConn.  The second article is a pretty good one, I thought.  The basic message:  Creighton players are not intimidated about playing us, given what they went through in the NCAAs last year.   It also notes our home floor record, and points out that UConn has only won at Maples 1 out of 5 trips.  (That surprised me--2 of those wins seem to have come before the Geno era, and UConn has not been back to Maples since our 2014 overtime win.  But it is hard for me to get the 2012 game out of my head.)

“One of our goals is to get to the NCAA Tournament, but that’s not the baseline goal,” Flanery said. “We’re going to play a team on Tuesday that expects to be in the Final Four. That’s great for us because we are going to be able to measure where we are compared to a team that expects to be in the Final Four, and probably has a better than 50% chance, maybe even better than 70% chance to get there.
