I would imagine that even when Brink doesn't block the shot, she probably forcers the player she is defending into a more challenging shot as the shooter seeks to avoid/minimize the chance of a block. Or, as you note, they don't shoot at all, seeking instead to avoid challenging Brink.
All that is to say that her impact is greater than simply the proportion of opponent shots blocked.
