Of the various recruiting outfits (Rivals, Scout, ESPNU, etc) I noticed a little bit ago that MaxPreps loved Hogan. Well, bad choice of words. I don't know if their star system differs from the others but from what I remember they gave him 4 and 1/2 stars and in their summary of Stanford's recruits for that class they listed Hogan as Stanford's "sleeper" recruit (seemed they chose a sleeper recruit for each team).
